Introduction
My name is Stuart Ogburn, and I am in the Master's Degree program in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. I began the program Fall 2014 and will graduate Spring 2016. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. After graduation, I began teaching 4th grade at Lawrenceville Elementary school in Gwinnett County. Once I got my first year under my belt I moved to Norton Park Elementary School in Cobb County where I currently teach 4th grade.
Kennesaw State Universities’ reputation in instructional technology led me to the Master's Degree program in the Department of Instructional Technology. My ultimate goal is to obtain a job as a technology coach. I plan to continue with my education by pursuing my doctoral degree in Instructional Technology at KSU.
The purpose of this portfolio is for me to demonstrate mastery of the PSC Instructional Technology Standards and the ISTE NETS-C standards. There are a series of tabs above you can visit where you will find a series of reflections, artifacts and evidence documenting the important work I have completed during this program. Each artifact represents mastery of the standard under which it is represented.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Kennesaw State University, and feel that I am well-prepared to integrate technology into my classroom and to assist other educators in using technology and providing professional learning opportunities for them.
